This year Breitling is definitely playing a main role at BaselWorld 2019, with several captivating releases: let’s see them together!
George Skern decided to bet it all on the re-edition of a classic cult: the Navitimer ref. 806.
The 806 was born in the 50s and dedicated to aviation pilots. It quickly became what today is Breitling’s most iconic watch.
The maison now decided to pay tribute to it with a re-edition that is, not joking, stunning: the Navitimer Ref. 806 Re-Edition 1959.
The watch is recalling every design detail from the version that was presented 60 years ago, in an amazing way. The Re-Edition has the same case dimensions of the original (40.9mm) and a slide-rule dial identical to the ‘59 original. The movement it’s presented with it’s a new hand-wound COSC certified caliber.
To celebrate the original production year, the Re-Edition is released in a 1959 pieces limited edition, with a price of 7.700€.
Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Norton
Another news is the Breitling Premier Norton Edition, paying homage to the relation between the brand and the famous British motorcycle factory. 42mm case, COSC caliber and a true vintage fashion.
List price of 7.800€.
Basel 2019 Superoceans are here.
The new Superocean is presented in five different sizes, from 36 to 48 mm. They’ve been equipped with a new COSC certified caliber, the caliber 17.
Prices goes from 3.280€ for the 36mm to 4.350€ for the 46mm. Sadly the 48 mm price is not available.
Another Breitling news is the Navitimer 1 Automatic 41mm.
Available in two versions: full steel case or rose gold/steel with a blue, black or silver dial.
This new model is inspired by chronographs form the 50s, with the slide-rule in the bidirectional bezel, it’s meant for today’s cosmopolite traveller.
The Navitimer 1 Chronograph 41 mm measures, as the name may suggest, 41 mm and its equipped with a caliber 13 COSC. Priced at 4.150 euros.
